I just read the comment on my first posting. I didn't want anyone to feel left out. We went to get the Christmas tree with our wonderful friends and family members - Brandy and Bacon. :)

It snowed today! Well, actually it snowed last night and rained today. It looked so pretty but you couldn't play in it because it wouldn't stop raining. The schools were closed, which means day care was closed which means I got a day off from work. It was a great day with the kids and a mid-day visit from Tim. Not sure what's going to happen tomorrow...

The kids found another use for the nets that came with the Freddy Fish game that Aunt Shelly got them for Christmas!

This is my first blog. This is a photo of the family getting their Christmas Tree. We drove to Sparta, NC and picked out our very own. They take you to the tree lot on a tractor hay ride. You pick out your tree, tag it and they cut it down for you. Then they take you back down the hillside in the tractor where they tie up your tree and secure it to your car. While they do all of that you get to enjoy cookies and hot cider in a warm building. It was a great time. The kids enjoyed it too -really. You just can't tell in this picture. That is the actual tree that was decorated and displayed in our living room this Christmas.
