Marathon Complete!

I did it! I ran my first (and last) marathon and lived to tell about it. I ran the Gasparilla Marathon on Sunday, Feb. 28th. It was a great weekend. I got to spend time with family and close friends and the weather on Sunday was perfect for running. It was a great and painful experience. I would encourage anyone who has ever wanted to do a marathon to go for it, with this advice...Be sure to train! I trained and it was still incredibly painful but so incredibly rewarding. I almost cried and I definitely acted as if I won the whole thing:)
Many thanks to all my friends and family that supported me during this whole thing. Your support was tremendous and I couldn't have done it without you guys. Next year I think we should get together again and all do the half...
